Discrimination
The General Equal Treatment Act (AGG) prohibits discrimination based on age, ethnic origin & nationality, gender & gender identity, physical and mental abilities, religion & belief, sexual orientation and social origin. This also includes digital communication and its formats. OVGU is committed to reducing discrimination and strengthening diversity.
Multiple discrimination occurs when people belong to several disadvantaged groups at the same time and are discriminated against for more than one reason.
Discriminatory and (sexually) harassing behaviour can manifest itself in verbal, non-verbal and physical forms or in actual assaults.
